Well this is very early days as far as my blogging career goes. I have set this blog up for my fashion and textiles students in the hope that they will access it and learn something from it or perhaps teach me something with their posts :-)
I will soon start adding projects in pictures and links to other interesting and far more fashionable blogs than mine ...

- I am a teacher in Perth WA. I have many interests but my passion is fabrics, quilts and sewing. I love any kind of sewing but finding quilting very theraputic. I enjoy the creative process of making my own patterns and styles. I love history (have a Degree) and would one day like to write about the history of Australian quilts.
