The Bonds Tee Challenge

I have been playing around with a Bonds Tee today attempting to turn it into something a bit different, a bit funky for the competition. My intial idea was that I create a couple of 'funked up' Tees for my daughter to model in the competition and to inspire my (student) girls to get out their old Tees and turn them into something fabulous! Then I read the fine print for the comp. and realised you have to be 18years of age to enter ... not sure they want an almost 40 year old as the Bonds Summer girl!!!

Anyway I took some pics as I was playing around this afternoon with this grey Tee and some black & silver stretch lace. If I had bought a Tee from the Op Shop and the lace new the whole project would have cost less than 5 dollars ... not bad for a couple of hours of entertainment and you get a funky Tee to keep at the end of it!

I am not really happy with the layout of this blog but I will eventually workout how to improve on it in the future!

Early Days

Well this is very early days as far as my blogging career goes. I have set this blog up for my fashion and textiles students in the hope that they will access it and learn something from it or perhaps teach me something with their posts :-)

I will soon start adding projects in pictures and links to other interesting and far more fashionable blogs than mine ...

I hope you all enjoy this and let me know how it works for you!
